Follow these simple steps to reduce risks and problems when you receive construction material deliveries.

  1. Coordinate deliveries between vendors and your designated Mover. Be sure to notify your Building Management in advance and submit any necessary documents.

  2. Inspect all deliveries when they arrive at the sidewalk. Do not accept products with damaged packaging and report them immediately to the vendor.

  3. Your designated Mover should be insured and have the right equipment ready to promptly transport deliveries inside to a designated storage area.

  4. Verify clearances in hallways, doorways, and elevators prior to delivery.

  5. The storage area should be secure and close to the job site. Store products in conditions as recommended by the manufacturer.

  6. Document and report immediately to the vendor any defects upon discovery.
